He specializes in representing sellers who require disciplined strategy, market-accurate pricing, and high-level execution across Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City, and the Mulholland Corridor from Calabasas to Toluca Lake. Alan’s background in the mortgage industry as a loan officer gives his clients a distinct financial perspective, allowing him to navigate the complexities of high-stakes real estate transactions seamlessly. Beyond traditional residential sales, he holds specialized expertise in trust and probate transactions, as well as the unique marketing requirements of luxury architectural properties and mid-century Mellenthin homes.
Influenced by his father, a well-respected local broker who opened the first Jon Douglas office in the Valley in 1976, Alan treats real estate as a matter of disciplined asset management, and leads the Alan Taylor Real Estate Group.
Alan obtained his B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. In his home life, he takes immense pride in being a devoted husband and father to his two remarkable sons.
